Are you and your family looking to partake in a traditional Easter egg hunt, with a historical twist?  The Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate invites your entire family to come out this Saturday to indulge in an Easter egg hunt, unlike any you have ever participated in before.  The annual Great Egg Hunt event will feature activities, games, entertainment, and of course, the oh-so-popular egg hunt itself.
 
The Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate tenders a unique venue for hunting Easter eggs.  It is a thirty-seven room revival mansion with a carriage house, milk barn, and gazebo, all nestled on 50 acres of land.  Easter eggs will be scattered inside, outside, high, and low. 
 
Following the Great Egg Hunt, your family is invited to participate in the many activities, games, and entertainment that is being provided by the Historic Estate.  There will be dancing bunnies, juggling clowns, stilt-walkers, tap dancers, and more. Be sure you have packed a picnic lunch to eat, before taking to the petting zoo.  Along the way you can have your face painted, sit down for various arts and crafts workshops, and even visit with the Easter Bunny.  
 
Admission prices to attend The Great Egg Hunt event are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children ages 4 and up, and free for children ages 3 and under.  Included in your admission cost is the Egg Hunt, all of the before-mentioned entertainment, and even a guided tour of the Historic Dunsmuir Hellman Estate.  Tickets can only be purchased at the door, the day of the event.
